Ignorance is bliss!!

I simply adore the movies '10 things i hate about you' and 'Casanova' more for the portrayal of the male leads by the handsome hunk. I loved 'The dark knight' too. I had heard the tragic death of the actor 'Heath Legder' who played joker. Call me ignorant but I didn't realise till yesterday that the male lead in two of my favourite movies also played Joker in The dark knight.

I found out yesterday while watching Casanova again on tv that all three movies had that actor in common and that actor is/was Heath Ledger, the same actor who died of a accidental toxic reaction of prescribed drugs, the same actor who died at 28 and posthumously won awards for his portrayal of joker.

It became so difficult to come to terms with that and watch that movie till the end. Some say it was drug overdose that killed him, some say it was reaction to prescribed medication. In either case, he is no more. Why can't people be a little more careful?!?

Death of someone close is a terrible sad event and one that we all are careful not to discuss and think about. Yet, it is a certainity that we all take a step towards with every passing hour.
