This is a major breakthrough in the adoption process. The adoption laws in India are so stringent and the system to rigid that they would act as a deterrent to most people who would want to adopt a child.

I think adoption is a very noble act and the given the social prejudices against adoption and the religious and social barriers that govern our lives the government needs to really completely overhaul the process and make it easier for those handful of people who are open to it.
