Tangled in Animation

AWESOME!!!
Simply SUPERB! Amazing!

Once upon a time lived a girl called 'V' who thought animated movies were lame and kiddish, that animated tv-series were for the mentally slow people. Then one day she met this fine young Prince who introduced her to the world of Animation. And life changed forever for her and they lived happily ever after.

I would really have to give credit to A here (I hate giving credit to him even when its well deserved - he is the husband you see! ) for introducing yours truly to the world of animation. I feel like I've wasted these last 22 years of my life not knowing this amazing world of cartoons and fairy tales. I love happy endings. I don't usually like movies that leave it open to the viewers to draw their own conclusions (Inception being an exception - though even that one gave me a headache trying to think what could have happened to the totem).
Animated movies on the other hand are adorable. They have happy endings. Good always wins over evil. They make you believe that their world is a great place to be.

Tangled is one such lovely, cute, must-watch movie. My favorite character in that movie is not the prince or the princess - it is the horse Maximus. He is the action hero of the movie. The Knight-in-shining armor who comes and rescues the Prince and the Princess.
It is amazing how the animators could capture and render human emotions on the horse's face. You can see the sarcasm, the raised-eye-brow look, the contempt, the love, the affection, the valor on his face. I have fallen in love with Disney-Pixar all over again. Such brilliance is commendable.
