Book Review: Eragon
Eragon by Christopher Paolini
Eragon, a young village boy, finds a dragon egg and the discovery changes his life into one filled with adventures and fights and magic and fun. This book takes you through a world of dragons, castles, dwarves, elfs and more evil beings. It is a gripping story of the adventures of Eragon and his dragon Sapphira. The psychic connection and ability to communicate with each other through mind waves is an intriguing concept. Details of a dragon’s life have been well thought through and are fascinating. Fast paced and intriguing book. The negative side to this one is that the chase gets too long and strenuous to read towards the end of the book.
All in a all, an interesting life. Made me want my very own dragon Sapphira. But, like some smart guy pointed out – the dragon has to chose me and not the other way round. Would pick the sequel to this when I get the time.
