Weekend Fun!

This weekend was fun and packed with excitement.

It started with a fun dinner at Capri, Italy at Defence Colony which was followed by a full of controversy game of Scrabble. I realize that this time that we have now, right this moment, is precious and I do not want to waste it. The sole reason to have the get-together was so that we all meet up and have a good memorable time, something that I believe we did have at the dinner. :-) Who knows when we will have this time again! Who knows whether we will even meet up anytime soon and how our lives will have shaped by then! Why not enjoy NOW and have a good time!

So back to the weekend. Post Scrabble session we went home and talked till 7 in the morning. Was fun! In the afternoon, A & I had to meet up with relatives. While waiting for them I checked out the market at Janpath. I cannot believe I had not seen that place earlier. :-D

I feel like Vasco da gama! :-) Gujarati women and their amazing business and sales strategies.

We saw this amazing painting exhibition that evening. There were a few paintings I really liked. One of them was a painting titled 'Inside, Looking out' by Prodeep Mookerjee. (see image here )

There were a few others. There was one that depicted the scene at a ghat with women washing clothes and having a bath. It was a large sized painting and you could read the expression and their thoughts on each persons face. It was like a paused tv image. Was a nice experience.

Sunday I went shopping!! Yippee. Bought lots of nick-knacks. All in all a good weekend spent!
